Brooke McClelland

Brooke McClelland is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist certified by the California Acupuncture Board (CAB) and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  She is also a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) which makes her a certified fertility acupuncturist.

Brooke first encountered acupuncture after she injured her shoulder while working on an organic farm. A long-time gardener and lover of nature, Brooke treasures that Chinese Medicine evolved from the Daoists’ careful observation of the natural world and the human body. She relishes working with Chinese Medicinal Herbs.

Brooke holds a Masters in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College of Berkeley.  As part of her clinical training, she interned at West Berkeley Lifelong Medical Clinic where she treated primarily Spanish-speakers (she is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese) to decrease pain and increase vitality, immunity, and fertility.  She also practiced at the UC Berkeley Simpson Center Sports Medicine Clinic where she treated world-class athletes.  She is particularly passionate about women's health and reproductive health as she gets to help patients build the lives and families they dream of.

Brooke believes that health or a lack of it can be traced back to the foods we eat, the practices we cultivate, and the thoughts we choose to think over and over again.  Brooke uses ancient TCM wisdom, functional medicine concepts, and mindfulness practices to guide patients back to abundant health.  Having worked with children for many years, Brooke has a nurturing and grounding presence.
