Double Happiness Health COVID-19 Protocols

Dear Double Happiness Health Community,

While it remains a threat, today COVID is far less likely to cause severe illness because of widespread immunity and improved tools to prevent and treat the disease. As we continue to live with and navigate fluctuating COVID-19 levels and variants, we’ll continue to follow CDC Guidelines in our efforts to provide a safe space for treatment:

  • Practitioners and admin continue to mask in the clinic. Patients can choose to mask or not according to their own preference.

  • We practice good hygiene as always by washing or sanitizing hands often, and cleaning frequently touched surfaces.

  • We are taking steps for clean air, such as circulating fresh outside air, and purifying indoor air in each treatment room and throughout the clinic.

  • Patients fill out a COVID screening survey before each visit.

  • When people get sick with a respiratory virus such as COVID, the updated guidance recommends that they stay home and away from others. The recommendations suggest returning to normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, symptoms are improving overall, and if a fever was present, it has been gone without use of a fever-reducing medication.

  • Once people resume normal activities, they are encouraged to take additional prevention strategies for the next 5 days to curb disease spread. We ask patients to wear a well-fitting mask in the clinic during that period.
